We are pleased to present our 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2015 report, again sponsored by EY.
This biennial survey recognizes 50 female hedge fund industry leaders based on data gathered from interviews with industry experts based in Asia, the US and Europe.
“Women are now managing hundreds of billions of assets across the full range of hedge fund strategies, from fundamental approaches such as activism and long short equity to quantitative ones such as CTAs and statistical arbitrage,” said Hamlin Lovell, Contributing Editor of The Hedge Fund Journal. “Women continue to leave larger hedge funds and strike out alone. Women who grew up in dozens of different countries are playing a vital and active role in the hedge fund industry globally, in North America, Europe and Asia. Women also hold powerful fiduciary positions helping to allocate hundreds of billions of dollars of pension, endowment, foundation and private capital to hedge funds. And women are very well represented in operational, finance, audit, legal, marketing, investor relations, capital introduction, prime brokerage, and other service provider roles.”
