In its July 2007 Market Watch Newsletter (Issue No.21), the FSA announced the results of its review of the controls over inside information relating to public takeovers. This review commenced in mid 2006. The FSA also held a briefing on 2 July 2007 hosted by the report’s authors, the Markets Division of the FSA’s Market Conduct Team.
