Kempen Appoints Mnatsakanian To ESG Role

Kempen Capital Management (Kempen) is pleased to announce that Narina Mnatsakanian has been appointed Director Impact and Responsible Investment, further strengthening the company’s commitment to ESG.

Narina, who begins her role on 1 June 2017, is one of the recognised voices in the responsible investment space, having worked for more than a decade in the sector.

She has worked for a number of prominent institutions, including the UNPRI (United Nations supported Principles for Responsible Investment), where she was at the forefront of developing global responsible investment best practices. Narina helped to build PRI local investor networks around the world and assisted signatories in embedding the Principles into their investment process.

Narina’s most recent role was with Sarona Asset Management, a boutique private equity firm focused on investing in emerging markets for returns and positive impact. At Sarona she was responsible for investor relations, impact management and ESG. She has also held positions at MN, KPMG and EY.

Narina’s extensive experience within this space, particularly among institutional investors, will be key in leading this initiative forward.”
